Family Portraits: $399.00 for 24 people or less and $499.00 for 25 to 40 people. We do it different from everyone else and this saves you money in the end! Rates are all inclusive including sitting fee, mileage, digital images color corrected on disk, on-line proofing and letter of permission. Sales tax for NC residents is extra.
Let us capture your moment on the Outer Banks. We will come to your beach cottage to take pictures or we can take pictures at your favorite location on the Outer Banks (Lighthouse, pier, Whale Head Club, etc…). If you are not in a beachfront cottage, our favorite place to take portraits is at Coquina Beach.
Our photo session can last up to 1hour. We can do traditional poses as well as photo-journalistic candid shots to capture more natural moments. We will start with the large group then break it down to smaller groups/families.
What you receive:
You will receive a disk of the digital color corrected images from your photo shoot. We include all the images except the obvious duplicates. You will be able to take this to any lab to make prints. On your disk you will get:
1. The full resolution images without watermarks. All images are color corrected and ready for printing. We may also include smaller images with our company watermark that you may post on Facebook or other social networks.
2. A letter of permission on the disk to make prints at any lab. You can do anything with the images except sell them or say you shot them
3. On-line proofing site where you can send the link to family and friends and even purchase images on-line from a pro lab.
4. Free mileage from Corova to Hatteras Island.
5. 10% off as a returning customer for life.
Images that are ordered through our company will be color corrected to get the best print. We also have many specialty items to choose from.
Retouching (removing objects, fixing hair, tan lines, blemishes, etc…) the images comes at a separate charge. Call or email for details.
What to wear for family portraits:
We often recommend white or blue shirts with khaki pants or blue jeans. Feel free to bring props (sunglasses, leis, toys for kids such as buckets and shovels, etc…)
Don’t forget to bring water.
Book your date:
To book your date, we will need a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance will be due the day of the photo shoot. In case of bad weather we will shoot your portraits at the beach cottage. Rescheduling due to weather is allowed but is limited to availability.
