Kill Devil Hills Large Family Portrait

We have worked with the Napier family a few times now. They have a large family group so we brought two photographers to the session. Doug and I are a husband and wife team. We are able to work together easily and professionally to get the job done. On this evening we each photographed half the group. Then we set up the group photos together. We finished the session by the water.

Pine Island Family Portraits Beach Photography

We had a wonderful evening with this family on Pine Island in Corolla, NC. The weather was perfect! We had a lot of grand babies in this session. It was wonderful to see them all together.  The family was so fun to work with.

Outer Banks Family Portraits Morning Session

We had a really rainy week this week. This family portrait session was switched to a morning session. It was a gorgeous morning! We met up on the beach 30 minutes after sunrise. It was a little windy but the temperature was perfect and the sky was beautiful!

Outer Banks Beach Portraits Family Photography

We have worked with this family many times. The first time was for their wedding. We photographed their birth announcement but couldn’t share it until their beautiful baby arrived since the sex and name of the baby was a surprise for everyone. Eleanor is now here and I got to meet her this summer! I will share those images soon!

Nags Head Woods Family Portraits Outer Banks Photography

This family has a special place in our hearts. We were able to be a part of their amazing wedding day and their family portraits! We had a family photo session scheduled for Mother’s Day weekend but the beach was too windy and moist for pictures. They were so excited about the session and decided to do the session with a location change instead of rescheduling. We were able to go to the park on Barnes St. in Nags Head. We decided to hit the Nags Head Woods trail. We were wind shadowed there and were able to get some wonderful family portraits. They made sure to bring some props to play with to capture some more candid, fun and natural images. Our session ended with a bit of rain before we could make it to the play ground. Thankfully I brought an umbrella. That allowed us to get a couple extra shots in before we left the park. We will always do our best to work with your family and find an alternative location if the weather does not cooperate.
