We worked with the Gillin family in South Nags Head. The day was beautiful and the little ones were so well behaved (and adorable!). We started our session in the dune line. The sea grass was beautiful and the dune provided us with some shade. After we had a great session in the dune we moved up to the waterfront for some more formal portraits. The extra time that was left was spent on candid photos of walking down the beach and exchanging smiles and kisses.
We worked with the Moore family in Duck, NC. We were close to the research pier and were able to take advantage of it. We had some wild weather that week that lead to big surf, a lot of wind, and some tide pools on the beach. We made the best of our time with everything we had and the photos came out great! I love how fun this family was to work with. I am so glad that I could capture these moments for them!
We have worked with the Snow family for a few years now. It is always a pleasure to work with them. We started our session in the dune line until the sun came down a little more. We then moved up toward the water and were able to capture some lovely moments with the family. We have a standard list that we work through but, we always recommend that if there are very important shots, you should make a list. Always talk to your photographer before the session if you have special needs. For example, let the photographer know if you have props you would like to use, or if you need some anniversary photos. Don’t be afraid to have some fun at the end. Stand in the water and get hit with a wave or jump in the pool.
This lovely family had their family portraits shot in Corolla, NC. The evening was perfect. No wind, happy children and a fun family.
